Construction:
The choice of thermocouple tube material depends upon environment
of its application .Depending on their properties, Alumina or Mullite
is used where these are best suited Our Mullite (silica/alumina)
protection tubes have excellent thermal shock resistance as well
as good mechanical strength characteristics. In oxidizing atmosphere,
generally Mullite is a better choice.
